I have a samsung LCD and the problem is that there is a blackout
of the screen, so while I can hear the sound I cant see the picture.
And If I wait for 5 to 6 hours and switch on the TV again the TV works normally. So it seems that the TV needs 5 to 6 hrs of ‘rest’ before it can work normally again after a viewing.
The problem usually happens when I switch off the TV for the day and switch it on again the next day. Please help.
I just bought a new LCD TV, thinking it was about time to replace my old Sony Trinitron TV, however the quality on the new TV was not impressive, compared with the old one the picture quality seemed muddy and unclear, especially on dark scenes. The seller informed me that that was LCD for you. Does anyone else share this view?
I got good cables, don’t think that’s the problem.
The new TV is a 32 inches one. I wanted Sony, but the seller told me that Philips was much better, so I bought the top model at nearly £ 1500.
I have a HD cable reciever that hooks up through HD RCA cables and an XBox 360 that hooks up through an HDMI cable to the tv and the picture from both sources is slightly fuzzy and has a green tint. The tv is only about a month old. Is there any way to adjust this?
We just purchased a new tv – and everything is hooked up correctly – and there is absolutely no picture. Audio is great – but again, a completely black screen. What can I do?
does speaker placed in front or near an LCD tv make any difference to the picture quality of the tv?
i have an LCD tv at home..and i have placed speakers of home theatre in front and near the tv,just beneath the tv….i have heard that the magnetic field of the speakers slowly damage the tv…and at the last moment…the tv shows no clear picture…is that true?? if so then how far the speakers be placed?? and can i place them near dvd player?? how long will it take for the tv to malfunction due to the magnetic field of speakers?
Is this normal if not how do I fix it. I purchased a new samsung lcd tv 32″ and when I change the channel the picture is scrambled for 2-3 sec before the clear picture comes through. I have cable and I use the coaxial cable from the wall to my tv. No cable box or satellite box. Any ideas??
I have a 37′ JVC LCD flat screen tv. Alot of the picture is being cut off at the top & bottom. What can I do?.. When I adjust position of the picture, It still doesnt have enough room to view the whole picture. I hope you guys can understand what I am asking.
I have tried absolutely everything to adjust the settings and I’m still not getting a good picture. I have even looked to see if there is a plastic screen protector to peel off. Can anyone help me get a perfect picture?
I have a Samsung LE40A556P LCD TV. I’ve spent ages tweaking my picture settings to get it just right. but after about 30 minutes they reset back to default which is almost unwatchable. what could be causing this and how can I stop it. Would a firmware upgrade help? I really don’t want to claim my warranty as done this before and was without my TV for about a month.
