		<description>The aspect ratio is being preserved so that your people don&#039;t look all squished. It&#039;s a good thing, but if you don&#039;t like it, there is usually a way you can zoom in on it ( this would cut off the top and bottom, fill in the sides, and still keep the aspect ratio) or make the picture wider, which changes the original aspect ratio, so it makes all the elements of the show wider. You may have to look in the user manual. If I were you, I&#039;d just look in the Table of Contents or the Index if it has one. Hope this helps.</description>

You are watching standard def 4:3 content on your wide screen TV. There is a button on the remote that allows you to expand the screen so that doesn&#039;t happen, but you really need to read the manual so you can understand the whys of what is going on.</description>
