What level of HD would create the best picture from an Xbox 360 on an LCD HD tv?

I have a 720p Sony Bravia LCD HD tv and I want to know what level of high definition I would have to set on the xbox 360 to create the best picture on a 720p tv. 720p? 1080p?

You can not go higher rating than the TV is capable of handling. If you try, you will get nothing but snow or static. The best picture would be for you to use the RGB cables, and have both the TV and the Xbox set on 720p.

1080p looks best on my 768p LG Plasma

I bounced from 720p to 1080p for 1 day and 1080 looked a hair better

not true, my 720 shows 1080p on 360
Id run HDMI cables and 1080p
