my lcd make sound but no picture anymore, anyone knows whats the problem?

i had my lcd for about a year and as i was playing my xbox 360, suddenly the picture went out but the sound was still on. i reset my tv but i still have only sound and no picture in every channel.

    You may have gotten all you’re going to get out of the unit. The modern technologies have a very limited useful life. Kind of makes you miss old vacuum tubes, eh?

    Is the backlight on, like when u turn the TV on does it turn from black to a lighter black, if so im not sure. If it doesnt id say that the backlight(s) is dead.
