I have a Sharp LCD TV and just recently when I switch the TV on, no picture comes up, only sound, the screen is completely blank. I have found that if I switch the TV off at the mains and leave it for a few seconds, when I turn the TV back on, the TV picture is there, but now it is gradually getting worse and it takes more than 2 or 3 attempts at doing this to finally get a picture on the TV.
Does anyone know what might be the problem here? Please help!

how old is it?? might be on its way out!! thats a bummer!! ive got a sharp and its been fine( 3 years old) !! ring up a specialist!!
it is a part needing replaced if you keep putting it on you will cause more damage i just had similar problem and had two different people look at it they wanted £245 and £285 respectively just for the parts plus £40 for the hours work sorry for the bad news i just bought a new one from john Lewis because you get 5years warranty free there also one of the cheapest Curry’s n comet want over £150 for such a warranty
