Does an Xbox 360 elite HDMI cable make the picture like 1080p on a 720p lcd tv?

I have this 720p lcd tv , i wanted to know if i use this hd cable would it make the picture look like 1080p on my tv and if not would it be better to use this or a normal r/g/b cable?
