The native resolution is 1680×1050. I just want to know if the picture will be stretched, cropped, or just have black bars along the top and bottom. I ask this assuming I am using an HDMI to DVI cable. Any help would be awesome!

I know the Pro doesn’t have HDMI. But I am not sure which of the available hook-up options (Component HD or VGA) or will display the best picture quality?

I have this 720p lcd tv , i wanted to know if i use this hd cable would it make the picture look like 1080p on my tv and if not would it be better to use this or a normal r/g/b cable?

i hooked it up using the component cables (rgb) to the tv. the tv is a samsung 32″ new model. it supports 720p and 1080i both of which the 360 can produce. but when i played nba 2k7 the people looked horrible! there were edges every everywhere. small stair like lines on the peoples outlines and buildings and what not. is this how it really looks like on hd? is there anybody else out there that has encountered this? i thought it was supposed to look really smooth.
so it shouldnt matter that im using component cables? coz i have the premium 360 not the elite. anyway, will try this later when i get home. thanks for the answers!

I have a 720p 32″ Samsung HD LCD tv. I am planning on buying an xbox 360 soon. I want to know what level of HD I should set my xbox 360 to in order to have the best display on my 720p LCD HD tv.
