I wanna know if I can plug a flat screen computer moniter into my flat screen lcd tv and watch a movie from my dvd player on both screens?
I have seen it on a BBC’s program “Gadgets”, that they have made a Digital Photo Frame by attaching a memory card reader. Any expert’s ideas?
I’ve just bought a new LCD monitor and put it alongside my existing LCD monitor. The picture on them both looks good, but somehow I prefer the colours on my older monitor. The display is slightly darker, the colours seem richer. It doesn’t have many set up options, this is just what it looked like when I first got it.
The new monitor has lots of settings though – it’s got some preset modes and lots of options to change. I could be here all day messing around with the two monitors to get them to look the same!
So how do I even know that the colour and brightness are correct?
Are there any websites out there with, say, colour scales on them that I can adjust my monitor to? I’m sure I’ve used something similar before…
Okay my computer did this before and eventually the lcd went black and wouldn’t work at all. Unfortunately it’s happening again.
What happens is that I will be in the middle of doing anything, and my computer will kind of crash into this. (please view picture)

Well I still have a warrenty for this labtop and I was wondering if this was a good enough excuse to return it and get a new one. Cause I didnt do anything to the labtop to make it do this and ever since I got it, it has been a piece of crap and doing this stuff.
And is anyone else familiar with this?
Any thoughts/opinions/suggestions appreciated
I have Samsung 226BW LCD monitor and its pictures doesn’t fit to the screen in its right and up sides. Because of this, I don’t get a perfect shaped picture.
Its seems like that thers a little strip of the display left dark. in both right and up. So the edge of the pic doesnt go straight in those two sides.
I hope you understand my queston.
thanks

I have just bought a Phillips 23inch LCD monitor for my laptop as the screen on it is failing, the monitor is meant to be full hd and has a resolution of 1680*1050@60hz. I have to say i was disappointed when i connected it up and found the picture to be quit blurry, the writing does not look nearly as sharp as my laptop. I also am not sure about how to get sound from it i have it connected to the laptop with a VGA cable, could this be the problem?
I recently got netflix so i can watch movies using my computer. I notice my computer has a HDMI connection so i bought a HDMI cable to connect my big screen with my computer. so i did that and i got a good picture but no sound, WHY?
