I have a SKY+ box connected to my 32″ Samsung LCD, intermittantly the pcture will disapear as if the AV signal has been lost.
I have switched the connections so have tested the posibility of a SCART socket problem, I presume its not a loss of SKY signal as the screen goes blank as if there is no input signal.

I thought it might have been the TV at fault maybe a capacitor disapating or something, however the fault also appears to happen whilst recording. So on playback the fault also happens although the screen just goes black rather than the blue on normal viewing.
Since the picture is not recorded from the TV but from the SKY Box I thought I’d found the problem, however I have a video sender and conected it up recently the picture on the second TV does not seem to be effected by this fault.
any ideas please it’s driving me mad.
