There is only one impact on the screen, but the rest of the screen is black. I would be happy with the tv if I got some kind of an image on it, I wouldnt mind seeing the *****. I have seen really badly cracked screens that still showed a picture, but this screens glass is not even cracked.

have a Freeview HD TV. The Picture quality is very poor. It has blocks. The signal strength is good and the 37″ seems to have a dimmer more blury image but with less blocks. Especially around the channel logos. Also, the HD aint as good as Skys on my plasma or on Analogue is it a problem with my TV?
The Quality is 8 and the strength is 10. I have lifted it in an out of rooms Is it damaged? HDMI seems ok. A Technican said it will get better over time when you keep watching it is it true?

Why is the 37-inch less blocky when it has the same signal?

I know that I can plug it in. But what about using say a 40″ 1080p lcd hdtv as a montitor? Would it look as crisp as the 24″ viewsonic I have now? Should I stick with lcd’s that are MADE to be pc monitors?
