I can’t see my subject on dark places when taking pictures (although after taking one, picture quality is okay). But the real problem is that I can’t see my subject while taking it and I can’t focus on the subject.
It started when half my screen would turn a dark red color and the picture would begin to lag on that side of the screen. Then it slowly began to move over to the other side of the screen too. The middle of the screen now is black and the outer edge of the screen is a dark reddish color. I’ve been doing some research and i think it might be the backlight inverter, can anybody confirm this?
I cannot get a picture on my Sylvania 19″ lcd hdtv. The screen is white. I can change channels and volume, but no picture. The TV in not very old, and has not been used much, probably only has maybe 20 hrs on it.
It has 5000:1 contrast ratio and 720p clarity. Is this a good LCD TV? I bought it at Wal-Mart for around $1200. Anyway, do I have to upgrade to the HD package with my cable provider to access the available HD channels? Is this the only way to enjoy the true HDTV clarity? Do I need to buy an HDMI cable for the upgrade? Also, how long do these LCD’s last? Do you have to trash them when they go out, or can you replace certain parts? Thanks.
The highest quality cable I use now is a component cable from the LCD to the receiver. This is only being used, I guess, when I’m watching DVDs.
Also, I do have digital cable currently. When you upgrade to the HD package, do you get a new box that has component an HDMI ports? Right now, my cable box is connected to my LCD via coaxial with a VCR in between.
bought a brand new Samsung LCD 37″ HD Ready tv, tuned it all in but the picture is still not as crystal as I think it should be!
Am I doing something wrong? its all hooked up to Sky and the DVD ok….but no matter how much we tune the colour/brightmess/sharpness etc its a funny picture. Its clear but kinda fuzzy…should I be doing something else to tune it in? Help!
why does the picture on my samsung 42 inch lcd(720p and 1080i look crappy with an av cable into ps3?
would hdmi significally change this?
(it’s actually 32 inches, my mistake)
it’s not the tv’s fault is it?
I just purchased a Sony LCD. My 4 yr old son plugs his game into the side video inputs. Everything worked fine at first now when we use the yellow/white or yellow/white/red RCA jacks we get sound but no picture or a no signal error. Very confused.
His games are vtech game units, which already have the cords attached to the unit. His V-Smile has the yellow/white outputs. When I plug them into the same input on TV I get sound but no picture. It worked when I got the TV at first. I returned the tv for new one. Store ran function test and it failed. Havin same problem with new TV.
I recently purchased a LG 42LH3000 1080p LCD TV, but I seem to get a slightly fuzzy picture. It is hardly noticeable, but how do I get a better quality picture? I tried adjusting the picture from the TV menu, but to no avail. When I first installed the TV, it asked me to insert the antenna into the TV to allow the TV to search for channels. Since I couldn’t find the antenna from outside my house, I ignored this step and proceeded to just go to AV to view my Virgin Media channels. I’m not sure if this had something to do with the picture quality. Any help would be appreciated.
I should also mention that when I run my PS3, or use my Blu-Ray, I get the crystal clear quality, so I’m guessing there is nothing wrong with the TV.
ok i recently bought a 32″ samsung series 5 hdtv. it is a 1080p. but when ever i change the channel i always need to fix the picture size. there is 16:9 4:3 wide fit and just scan. i want it so it would fit the full tv size with out stretching everything. is this possible?
