I have just bought a 40″ Sony LCD TV (which was not cheap!) and the picture quality is not as good as you would expect. The edges of people seem quite fuzzy. It has built in Freeview so is digital, any ideas!?

I have an Audiovox FPE3000 30″ TV and when I first turn it on the Audiovox symbol comes on real bright for about a half a second then goes away. When I try to watch something the picture is so dark it is nearly impossible to see. I can faintly see the menus and I have played around with brightness and contrast and color and all the controls, but it is still really dark. Almost like the lamp that lights the picture up is not coming back on after the Audiovox symbol comes on? Oh, the sound is fine, by the way. I don’t know, any TV repair people who have seen this problem and might know how to fix it.

The TV is a Westinghouse LCD and the computer is a PC with an old ATI video card. Do I need to download color schemes for the tv? Could it be the VGA cable that is causing the problem? The resolution looks good. There is just something very wrong with the colors.

I recently bought a Mikomi15″ TV for my room in a house, it has an external aerial on the wall, but when i connect the cable from wall to TV, the tv says no signal. Not sure if its the aerial or TV. Any suggestions, as i’m about to return LCD TV and try traditional CRT
Just moved into the house, so have never used the aerial. Re Freeview, not available in Skipton until 2011……….yes i know!! but will be back to London in March.

I’m wondering if there is a way to dump all the menu screens out form the camera. I just want to make a little cheat sheet for all the menu functions in my dSLR cameras.
