while normal digital camera displays the image on the LCD screen ? I thought SLR camera was better. then why doesnt it display the image ?

BOSE 321 GS system paired to a Sony 40″ LCD. I didn’t realize the subwoofer was not shielded and bought a stand (wood) that has a built in space for the subwoofer. Am I screwed? Is there any way to shield the subwoofer?
