I need a new scart anyway, but have heard S-video connections give you a better picture but dont know if one of these is possible through a ps2? I brought this TV in the hope of in a few months getting an xbox 360 to play HD games. I just fancy making the most of my ps2 now. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Is there a way I can make the picture stretch out and fit the screen better while keeping my resolution set at the high at 1680 X 1050 pixels? I would like a good clear picture rather than the blurry one I get when I go to a lower setting. Thanks for your help.

I have a vizio 52″ lcd flatscreen tv. Last night I was trying to change the channel and i hit something else on the remote. Now the picture looks so up close and it’s way to annoying to watch. I hit the wide button on the remote and it doesn’t fix it.

I’m buying an LCD TV. I like the Samsung’s. I’m looking at model LN40A550 for $1499.99. Is this the best picture for that price?

for the past 5 days when i come home i go got turn my tv on and itll play sound but no picture it just turns either white or gray. Eventually it’ll turn to normal after i have to just click random buttons for about 30 minutes but its not even 2 years old?

are stretched out wide. Is this true? What would be the benefit of having a distorted picture? Is there an LCD of this size that is not distorted?

i travel a lot and it would be cool to not have to ask people to take the picture for us. i know the lcd tilts but i can’t figure out if it turns around all the way.

I’m talking about the contrast, brightness, and so on. If you don’t know what all the other setting modes are besides contrast and brightness then you really shouldn’t be answering this question. But I really want to get the best picture quality so please help me out =P

P.S. – I’ve got HD Comcast channels if this helps any.

I purchased a samsung 46in lcd tv that will turn on and has sound. But when it comes to the picture, you can see what ever is being displayed but it does not light up like a tv should? There was no cord that came with the tv so I purchased one online which fits samsung tv’s, could it be just the cord or is there something else wrong like a backlight?
