Bought a new 32″ LG LCD TV today, its beautiful, but i wondering if any geeks out there can tell me how to adjust your contrast/sharpness ect from 0%-100% to create the perfect picture.

I’m planning to buy a HD LCD TV in the 40-46 inch range. I MIGHT get a 1080p TV. Will there be any (noticeable) difference in picture quality and the quality of the TV overall between a brand like Sony and a no-name brand?

I have a polaroid lcd tv, and have basic cable. Some of the channels have like lines going thru them. Dont tell me to get digital cable because i cant afford it. How do u get the picture better?

I bought a Vizio 42″ LCD tv. I wasn’t sure if I should leave the picture settings at the default setting. I was wondering if anyone has found the best picture setting for this type of tv.

I just bought the VIZIO 42″ 1080p FHDTV from Costco and I was wondering if anyone knew how to optimize the picture. I know I can call Costco’s free tech support but I figured I might get a better answer here.
