I just got a 52in Samsung LCD and the picture is in the midlle, meaning that on the left and right side of the screen there is a 3in grey area. So what i am saying is that its not a full picrure or doesnt cover the screen all the way. Is there a way I can adjust it to full screen off the remote?
Can anyone help me with this?
The picture seems somewhat mediocre to me..it seems kinda dark and dull but its ok i just want it to be the best! what settings can i use to make the picture look better? and like when i try to change the picture size it always looks wierd i cant get a normal 16:9 or whatever..help guys. by the way its a 720p
I just got a new Insignia 37″ 1080p TV from Best Buy.
Came home and hooked it up to my Dish Network reciever.

What types of adapters are needed too clear up picture quality. I have bought a new LCD TV but I dont have digital cable just standerd cable with no box.
I am quessing this why the picture is so grainy and far from HD.
The DVD is awsome. So before I went and had digital cable put in, I wanted someone to please exsplain my options for this issue.
I was wondering if they made a signal converterbox or something to help out with this poor picture or do I just have to have a cable box deliverd.
I also have extra PCs. Would a TV tuner card be able to do this for me too or not!
Its a Sylvania LC370SS8 37in with only a Fully integrated ATSC tuner.
What other tuners do they have and what would they do for picture quality.
I dont realy know much about this stuff but I would be greatful if some could exsplain this too me thanks.
I recently got netflix so i can watch movies using my computer. I notice my computer has a HDMI connection so i bought a HDMI cable to connect my big screen with my computer. so i did that and i got a good picture but no sound, WHY?
The tv turns on, has sound, and the only thing it displays is a faint whitish glow at all times. If repairable, what can I do to repair it and does anyone have an estimated cost? Hopefully someone can help me from experience.
What is the clearest picture that you can possible get right now for a LCD or Plasma tv right now? I will be hooking up my xbox, dvd player, and my computer up to a tv. Basically need to know what the best possible picture out right now regarding color, skin tones ect… I have seen alot saying panasonic I was looking at the new 50 inc but I am open minded. I do see alot of no name brands that have the best resolution but a little hesitant about getting one of those because don’t want the color or picture to be yucky.
I just got a 22″ LCD after owning a 21″ CRT, and I feel that the image of videos and the image of satellite channels I receive through my satellite card was better with my CRT.
I think that jpg and pictures files he same or better, but video files definitely worse!
Is that normal, or something is wrong??
Comcast sent a signal and the color is better, but it is still not great. Could it be that I am sitting too close (6 ft from TV)?
